Key Accountabilities

-Drives business development across the distribution channel or customer segment

-Leads the development of distributor and-or customer value propositions, securing the support of all colleagues as required

-Ensures that customer, distributor or market needs or trends are well understood by country CEO and peers

-Builds and maintains close relationships with key customers and distributors in area -channel

-Maintains a detailed understanding of the channel metrics and the drivers of performance variances against expectations

-Understands how local channel or segment performance compares with peers in other countries and plan to improve relative performance

-Drives continual improvement in sales effectiveness, including the quality of management information and business practices

-Drives the development of the Distributor and-or Customer Manager population including visible and demanding leadership of Group talent processes-Champions the development of a Sales Culture within the organization

-Understands and implements all relevant requirements of the Sales Distribution Function-Contributes to the development of Sales Distribution practices as appropriate-Manages resource allocation within channel or segment

-Manages and, where appropriate, negotiates distributor compensation including strategic distributor' agreement and terms of business
